paid tha cost.

what else can we say about boss salamanca? cars got an ass that could swallow up 2 g-strings... hes done it again, flipped the SC world on its ear, and jammed a pencil in it. Weds Kranze ER-M. rockin an offset in the rear that most can only dream of. and the fact that hes not running -124293489032 camber really means alot of work has gone into this. everytime he waves that wand it gets the haters hatin and the fanboys droolin.

regularly scheduled programs....

weve been lookin like the HAMB here lately. haha. well back to our normal business. i ran into this gnarly beast the other day on burbank. he was a few cars ahead of me and all i could smell was race gas burning. and if you know what im talkin about the smell is pretty distinct. and well, im pretty sure hes not running much for exhaust either. he took off and all i heard was a nasty spool. and then i noticed it was a widebody with some pretty fat rubber in the rear. interestingly enough, jon sibal made a post about the car yesterday. turns out the monster is twin charged. ffffffuuuuuuucckkkkk. check it out on jon sibals site. link is below....

king kong himself.

so this is an homage to dandy dick landy and his brother mike landy. mike is my neighbor/employer/mentor, and hes helped me out with projects and advice over the years. his brother dick, was the famous dandy dick landy of 60s and 70s drag racing fame. pretty much pioneered hemi engines and altered class racing. times when men were men and racing was racing. before all of the fashion, glitz and glamour. pure unadulterated power and fun. mike was the main engine builder at dick landy industries, his skill and knowledge are staggering. over the past few years hes taught me so much and i cant thank him enough for it.

heres to you dick, we all miss you.

Toyota V-12 | Lexus V-10

Toyota Century 1GZ-FE V-12 5.0L [Top]
Lexus LF-A 1LR-GEU V-10 4.8L [Bottom]
[Man wouldn't one of these be nice stuffed in a Toyota Supra or Lexus SC chassis?! Wish I could find a half-cut.]

i love metal work. i love beautifully fabbed parts and exquisite welding. this is a manifold from check shop in japan for a newer V10 M5. extremely clean. and those are hand welded. extreme talent.

How to make an Import go lower than the competition, after the frame hits the floor? How to get a lower co-efficient of drag for racing at the same time?

Use a good-old HotRodding trick! Chopping the roof off and lowering it for that slick mean raked stance really sticks the knife in the competitions face, in my opinion. I hope within the next 10 years this mod really takes off, but if history is any indication, it's not going to. I still have hope though.
[One day I will definitely do this.]

[The Signal Auto Civic was done around 10 years ago, that red 240SX was chopped prior to that! The Silvia's are rather recent chop jobs, and that Subaru was done only a few months ago. It actually makes the newest Subi look like a decent car for once, WOW!!]
